Privacy in Second Life

Many SL residents discover the wonderful social benefits that are possible in a virtual world. Second Life is many steps above Faceook, Tumblr, Twitter or other social media platforms, because you can meet, interact and connect with others, in a creative environmental space. You can throw a party and have people from all over the world show up in one place; you can build and create items to share with them, share your spirit and share moments.

At some point, many Second Life residents discover they also want some privacy to balance out the constant social interaction; a place to call their own to relax, and possible invite others to visit. Whether they buy a small house or rent one, they can benefit from a quiet recluse and appreciate the virtual world in new ways.

A Sky Home is a very interesting and effective solution to gain privacy.  These cozy houses are not too small and not too large, just right for one or an intimate pair. (see that picture of me relaxing on a couch with my feet up against the window?) That's downtime for a normally very busy Goddess!

These types of houses are special because of the fact they are built high in the sky, so anyone walking by on the ground will never know you are there. And even if they find you, sky homes like the one pictured, have hi-tech security system to prevent anyone from wandering in!
